Peace classes include a period of focus on the subject, activities to reinforce the topic learnt and a period of reflection. An Orientation program for teachers and administrators and parents ensure that all protagonists are working together to create a peaceful environment and individuals at home and school.
Classes are held for 40-60 minutes every day ideally. The concepts learnt are applied throughout the day in the other subject classes and playground as well with the help of other teachers.
The classes are held in the classroom at school.
Creative peace workshops peace classes are held regular after school as an extra-curricular class. Creative peace workshops can also be held in off-school environments, like NOGs, housing colonies, in short, any organized place where children gather.
Workshops are conducted for 40-60 minutes every day. The class follows the program of studying the subject, activities and cooperative learning to reinforce the subject learnt, creativity and a period of reflection. As creative workshope elements, children learn to do thematic handicrafts, art work, music, dance, drama and several outdoor environmental components. The concepts learnt can be displayed and performed at the morning assembly and shared with the rest of the school.

The week long children's peace camp consists of a 7/15 day peace program of 3 hours/day. There is Activity based learning, cooperative games, reflection and project work. Parents are invited to a parent orientation program as a part of this summer camp. This is held in the month of April and May every year and during each major school holiday.
The camp can be held on school premises or at the Roopantara center that is offering the program in collaboration with Education for Better Foundation.
